Dual-Tape™ Hand Tape
It’s not often that a basic product can be greatly improved upon, but the Dual-Tape™ is one such exception. As the product name implies the tape reads in two directions: Left-to-Right (standard) and Right-to-Left. This permits direct face-up reading of the tape no matter which side you use it, thus eliminating mis-reads and twisted necks! Accuracy is held to ± .03 for 16’ of measured tape. As shown, graphics are easy to read with continuous reading inches in both directions plus a common scale for feet-and-inches. The feet-and-inch scale actually triples the effective use of the Dual-Tape by being able to directly read the tape in a vertical or perpendicular application. The first foot is graduated to 1/32” and Diamond Marks reference 16” stud centering. The yellow blade measures .006 thick and 3/4” wide x 16 feet long, and comes in a charcoal gray plastic case with a belt clip, durable tape lock, auto-retract and a reinforced blade tip. Open Frame Hand Tapes
This unique design of flat flexible measuring tapes comes in two basic styles: Direct reading Diameter Tapes (DT) for measuring round objects; Direct reading Linear Tapes (LT) originally designed for agricultural husbandry. Tapes are made of vinyl impregnated polyester woven fiber 1.10 inches wide with easy to read graphics in both Fractional and Metric. The case is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic with stainless steel fasteners that provides a rugged outdoor use. Optical selections include: Tape complete in case (HT); Replacement tape (RT) preattached to a spool; or as a Separate Tape (ST) as an economical alternative to the case style (no triangle loop at end).
E-Z Read® Hand Tapes
These tapes incorporate new features long overdue in blade graphics. Besides the standard inches-and-feet and continuous inches, the bottom edge is graduated in 1/8" numerical fractions (1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 7/8"), along with 1/16" graduations on top and bottom. The first foot at bottom has 1/32" graduations. Standard features include: bright chromed high impact plastic case, spring rewind with locking thumb lock, metal belt clip, sliding end hook for inside/outside measurements. Nominal case width (marked on back), yellow blade; feet-and-inches in red, continuous inches in black.
Notion™ Hand Tapes
Notion™ Hand Tapes are heavy duty. impregnated fiber tapes perfect for workshop or sewing applications. Graphics are black on yellow, one side is Fractional with 1/8" graduations continuous reading from left to right while the other side is Metric with 1mm graduations continuous reading cm vertical down. Each tape has metal tips on either end, which makes it easy to hold on to. Each unit comes belly banded with length call out. And they are sold in sets of 12. |
