These 2½” wide gauges withstand the extremes of Mother Nature and Mankind, and are guaranteed not to chip, crack or ever rust. They are fabricated with modern day materials that offer advanced performance at reduced cost. The base material is two sheets of .008 tk white polyester painted aluminum with a black thermoplastic bonded core. Graphics are solvent ink printed then top coated with 5 mils of clear polyester providing optimum chemical, abrasion and UV protection. Mounting holes (3/16) are provided at strategic points. You can drill the mounting holes larger or even cut the gauge to a shorter length without any detrimental loss of quality.
Graphics are bolder, designed for clarity at greater distance and dimensional lines are flush bottom machined for accurate joining for multi-sectional gauges. Black graphics on a white background provide optimum contrast. In all, what you need to get is a “Superior Staff Gauge”.
1.0 The Surveyor Tenth (SSGST) style graduated gauge has Foot, 1/10 ft & 1/100 ft
increments using .120 thick lines that are “stepped” for easy reading at the top or bottom
edge.
2.0 The Engineer Tenth (SSGET) style has lines every 1/100 th of a Foot with varied length
of solid lines to help distinguish the different increments from one another.
3.0 The Surveyor Metric (SSGSM) style has numbers every 5 cm and is divided into 10
stepped 1/2 cm lines for reading at the top or bottom edge.
4.0 The Engineers Metric (SSGEM) style has lines every 1/2 cm with varied length solid
lines to help distinguish the different increments from one another. |
